What it is

Prefabricated acoustic pods and rooms, manufactured off-site and assembled on your premises.

What it solves

Speech privacy and quiet in open-plan and shared spaces — without a construction programme.

Who it is for

Workplaces, property and fit-out, education, libraries and government, homes, and music.

The problem

Open plan gave you density. It took away privacy.

Most Australian floor plates now have more people and fewer places to have a private conversation. Meeting rooms are booked, phone calls happen in stairwells, and focused work competes with everything else in the room.

Open plan alone

  • Calls and video meetings are audible across the floor.
  • Sensitive conversations have nowhere to go.
  • Meeting rooms are booked out by two people at a time.
  • Focused work is interrupted by everything around it.
  • Adding rooms means a construction programme and make good.

With OULIV acoustic space

  • Private space for calls, one-to-ones and focused work.
  • Installed inside the existing floor plate, without building works.
  • Relocatable as teams, floors and leases change.
  • Mechanically ventilated so people will actually stay in them.
  • Delivered and supported by an Australian team.
The OULIV position

A room you can add on a Tuesday and move in a year.

How it works

Choose. Deliver. Assemble. Use.

Most of the work happens in the factory, not on your floor.

Choose

Send your floor plan and requirements. We confirm the model, quantity, finishes and placement, and check access.

Deliver

Panelised components are manufactured off-site and delivered to your loading dock or entry point at an agreed time.

Assemble

Our installers assemble on site, connect power and commission the ventilation. No wet trades, no demolition.

Use

The space is ready the same day it is assembled — and can be relocated later if your floor plan changes.

Technical transparency

The numbers are on the page, not buried in a PDF.

Acoustic performance, ventilation, power, dimensions and warranty are published as structured data on every product page — and every published figure is tied to evidence. Where we do not yet have verified test data for a model, we leave the field out rather than estimate it.

Technical resources

Acoustic performance

Speech level reduction reported against the test method used, with the report reference.

Ventilation

Airflow, air changes and fan noise — the numbers that decide whether people stay inside.

Power & data

Supply requirements, outlets and lighting, so your electrician can plan ahead.

Dimensions

External and internal dimensions, weight and access requirements for the delivery path.

OULIV does not publish acoustic ratings, fire performance, warranty periods or installation times that are not supported by verified evidence. If a figure is missing from a product page, it is because the evidence is not yet in place — ask us and we will tell you where it stands.

Projects

Australian installations.

Case studies are being prepared

We publish a case study only once the client has approved it. Our first Australian installations are in progress and will appear here as they are signed off — we would rather show you nothing than show you something invented.

Common questions

Answers, first.

What is an acoustic pod, and how is it different from a meeting room?

An acoustic pod is a freestanding, prefabricated room placed inside an existing space. It gives you speech privacy and a quiet environment without building works, and unlike a constructed room it can be relocated when your floor plan changes.

Do I need a building permit to install one?

It depends on your building, the local authority and how the space will be used, so it cannot be answered generically. Because OULIV pods are freestanding and relocatable, approvals are often simpler than for construction — but you should confirm the position for your site with your building surveyor, landlord or council. We supply the product information they will ask for.

How quickly can a pod be installed?

Installation depends on the model, the number of units and the delivery path from the loading dock to the final position. Send us your floor plan and we will assess your site rather than quoting a generic figure.

Where does OULIV deliver?

OULIV is an Australian brand supporting Australian customers, with delivery and installation arranged nationally. Tell us your location and we will confirm what is available for your site.
