Questions

OULIV Duo FAQs

Does this pod need a building permit?
Requirements depend on your building, the local authority and how the space is used, so this cannot be answered generically. OULIV pods are freestanding, relocatable and installed without conventional construction, which often simplifies approvals — but you should confirm the position for your site with your building surveyor, landlord or local council. We can supply the product information they will ask for.
How is the pod ventilated?
Each pod includes a mechanical ventilation system that draws fresh air in and exhausts it, so the space stays comfortable during extended use. The specific airflow rate and control method for this model are published on this page once they have been verified against test data.
Can the pod be moved later?
Yes. The pods are panelised and designed to be disassembled and reassembled, which is one of the main reasons organisations choose a modular space over construction. Relocation should be carried out by OULIV or an OULIV-trained installer so that acoustic seals and services are correctly reinstated.
What power supply is required?
The pod connects to a standard power supply at the installation position. The exact requirement for this model — including circuit and outlet detail — is published on this page once confirmed for the Australian market. Your electrician or facilities team should review the location before installation.
How long does installation take?
Installation time depends on the model, the number of units, site access and the delivery path from the loading dock or entry point to the final position. Send us your floor plan and we will give you a realistic assessment for your site rather than a generic figure.

Specifications, finishes and availability may change. Project-specific suitability, building approvals, services connection and installation requirements depend on your site and application, and should be confirmed with OULIV before order.
