Why OULIV

Built to be specified,
not just sold.

Facilities managers, architects and procurement teams ask the same eight questions. Here are our answers — including the parts we cannot yet prove.

An OULIV meeting pod installed on an open-plan office floor

The eight questions we are asked before anyone signs anything.

Every one of them has a short answer and a long one. The short answer is on this page. The long one is a specification table with an evidence reference against each figure, on every product page.

A modular approach

Built in a factory. Assembled on your floor.

Everything is manufactured off-site and assembled on your floor. There is no demolition, no wet trades and no extended site programme — which is why a modular space can be installed in an occupied building without shutting the floor down.

Acoustic performance

Measured, referenced, and comparable.

Acoustic separation comes from the whole assembly: the panel build-up, the glazing, the door seal and the way services penetrate the shell. We publish speech level reduction against the test method used and quote the report reference, so you can compare like with like.

Ventilation and comfort

Sealed enough to be private. Ventilated enough to stay in.

A sealed space is only usable if it breathes. Every OULIV pod is mechanically ventilated, and we publish airflow, air changes and the fan noise level — because the honest trade-off between airflow and acoustics is what decides whether people stay inside for an hour.

Product design

Designed to belong in a considered interior.

These products sit in reception areas, libraries and open-plan floors that were designed by someone. The detailing, glazing proportions and finish range are made to look deliberate in a considered interior, not like equipment that was dropped into it.

Australian compliance approach

Your certifier decides. We supply the evidence.

Requirements depend on your building, your local authority and how the space is used. We do not claim blanket compliance. What we do is supply the product documentation your building surveyor, landlord or certifier will ask for, and tell you plainly what we do and do not yet hold evidence for.

Delivery and installation

Most install problems are access problems.

Most installation problems are access problems. Before delivery we work through the path from the street to the final position — door widths, corridor turns, lift dimensions and capacity, thresholds and floor loading — so the install day is uneventful.

Local support and warranty

An Australian team, not an offshore queue.

OULIV is an Australian customer-facing team. Warranty, spare parts, servicing, relocation and support are handled locally, not routed offshore. Warranty terms are published once they are confirmed by management and consistent with the Australian Consumer Law.

OUSON Group background

A specialist brand with a manufacturer behind it.

OULIV is part of OUSON Group. The group provides manufacturing, supply chain and project delivery capability behind an Australian brand and an Australian team — which is what lets a specialist product company operate at this scale.

How we handle claims

We would rather show you the gap than a number we cannot stand behind.

What we will not tell you

Plenty of marketing in this category is written to sound conclusive. We have taken a deliberate position on what OULIV will and will not publish.

No “100% soundproof”

No practical pod is. We publish measured speech level reduction and name the test method used, so you can compare our figure with anyone else's.

No blanket compliance claims

Approvals depend on your building and your authority. We supply the documentation; your certifier makes the call.

No unverified numbers

Acoustic ratings, airflow, electrical draw, fire information, warranty periods, assembly times and lead times are published only when they are tied to evidence in our system. If a field is missing from a product page, the evidence is not yet in place.

No invented case studies or testimonials

Projects appear on this site only after the client has approved them in writing.

The team

An Australian team, with a manufacturer behind it.

Warranty, spare parts, servicing, relocation and support are handled here, by people you can reach. OULIV is part of OUSON Group, which is what lets a specialist product company operate at this scale without becoming a reseller.
